Copyright Agency has experienced a cyber incident that has led to an interruption of our normal services. We are still at the earliest stages of investigating the incident and we are unable to provide any details of the investigation at this time. As a precaution, we have notified the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and we are working with the relevant law enforcement bodies and the Australian Cyber Security Centre. We sincerely apologise if you are currently unable to access our services. We are working to restore our systems so that we can return to normal operations as quickly as possible. We wish to assure members that online access to the AGM next Wednesday 24 November is not affected by this incident.

RightsPortal is the Copyright Agency’s online licensing platform. It makes it simple for you to obtain the rights to re-use and share copyright-protected text and images.

What licensing solution would you like to access?

Here you can purchase pay-per-use licences to copy and share News and Magazines and Journals articles.

Commercial Licences are suitable for businesses, local governments and not-for-profit organisations whose main purpose is NOT education.

Here you can access the Statutory Education Licence, which allows education providers to copy and share text and images for educational purposes.

This is suitable for private education providers including private colleges, RTOs, training arms, community colleges and kindergartens.
